Hi,

I Have a bit of a problem with Dim A$(x). When I load this code:

I get nothing printed on the screen.

When I replace 'Center Text 400,250,a$(2)' with 'Center Text 400,250,"This is a piece of text"', it prints just fine!

What am I doing wrong?

Tako

Homer_76,

Your code works fine on my computer, in which I am using DarkBasic Classic. Are you using DBClassic or DBPro?

mmm.. This is weird.

I use Darkbasic PRO. The text is not showing. I had this once before in a piece of code from the Showcase.

It must then have something to do with my computer.

Thanx for the reply!!

Maybe to close of this topic:

I had this piece of code in a function. This was the reason for it not to work! I used Gosub and Return and for the rest exactly the same code and it worked fine!

Is this a bug in DB or is this supposed to be?
