ok...heres my problem. i have a menu code that plays 2 animations and then goes to the menu, but the menu isnt the problem...its the animation...they are rendered at 1024x768 and dbpro exe is running in fullscreen mode, and i set the reslolution to 1024x768.i play the animations in real player, winamp, windows media, div ex...everything and they run fine, but when they run in my program...there is horrible lagg...i tried to force the fps with sync...but then my animations arent even visible (although you can still hear the audio)

so...is this a dbpro issue?...is there a way to fix it?

P.S. heres the snippet for the oppening menu animations:

sync rate 60

at the top of your code?

i just did...that renders the same result...

if it helps at all, my videos are rendered at 29 fps...i tried entering that as the sync value too...but it didnt work...

maybe sync isnt the command i am looking for...all i want, is my videos to not lagg during full screen mode.

Try using screen width() and screen height(), I think there's a similar problem that was just solved like this.

<Edit> Nevermind

The best way to have a full fps rating on movies is:
