I know that if I want to put something on the forums greater than 1MB I have to put the URL address of the file here.

What I don't understand is how I get the file on the internet so that I can put in a URL.

If someone could please explain so I know if I have to use something like FTP or something that would be helpful.

I have know idea what sflm stands for

i use savefile....http://www.savefile.com/filehost/
You cant upload to big of files but it works good for me. If you plan on using it, just signt up, create a new project, and uplaod your files. Or you could use another free webhosting site. If you have your own site then you can just ftp your files there and host them. I hope that helped. And you can usually cut down the file size a lot if you jpeg them.

The forum post form has a file upload box, as long as it's under 1 megabyte.
