Hey!!
What is the bigger word in the world?
Here, in Brasil, I know a big word by:

Pneumoultrasinintomicroscopicobacterovulcanomiótipo

But I don't know its equivalence in english...
It is about an illness that the people get when they inhale
volcanic cinder..
I don't know what happens after the unfortunate is sickness..

Does someone know this one or some other larger?
Thanks

[just for fun =DDD]

ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM = the belief which opposes removing the tie between church and state.

HONORIFICABILITUDINITATIBUS = honorableness.
The word first appeared in English in 1599, and in 1721 was listed by Bailey's Dictionary as the longest word in English. It was used by Shakespeare in Love's Labor's Lost (Costard; Act V, Scene I):

"O, they have lived long on the alms-basket of words.
I marvel thy master hath not eaten thee for a word;
for thou art not so long by the head as
honorificabilitudinitatibus: thou art easier
swallowed than a flap-dragon."
Shakespeare does not use any other words over 17 letters in length.

TAUMATAWHAKATANGIHANGAKOAUAUOTAMATEATURIPUKAKAPIKIMAUNGAHORONUKUPOKAIWHENUAKITANATAHU
A hill in New Zealand. This Maori name was in general use, but is now generally abbreviated to Taumata. The name means: the summit of the hill, where Tamatea, who is known as the land eater, slid down, climbed up and swallowed mountains, played on his nose flute to his loved one.

And ofcourse smiles has a mile betwwen the first and last letters

Contraantidisestablishmentarianistic.

I was reading on one of the Wikipedia websites, how you can change the -ism suffix to -istic, and add the prefix contra- to it to make it even longer

Drew, look above.

I read somewhere that Antidisestablishmentarianism isn't actually a 'real' word, meaning that it has never widely been used for its meaning - some think it exists soley to be the longest English word.

You're crazy

These ugly words was never necessary...
I really think that words are stupid, but useful things..
Confuse?

In example:
why shrub (it is a ugly word) is call "shrub"?
doens't make any sense for me... say "shrub" to yourself and
think in a plaint.. plaint/"shrub"/plaint/"shrub"
ok
don't observe.. I'm really a little lunatic... =DDDDD

Look at this.. OMG!!!

My brother is call:

Fábio Assis Aguiar

Fábiois from Latin (I guess) and it means "Bean"
Assis is Italian (or French, I can't remember) and it means "Seated"
Aguir in Brasil (portuguese) sounds like "A guiar" and it means "at the command of something" (evidence in Brasil is "car")

So.. my brother is a:

Bean seated down driving a car...

This world is crazy..
The words are even more...

Look at this name "Walker Bush" is it some rare kind
of carnivorous "shrub" ?????????
kkkkk
