Hi people:

This is my first post. Well, I'm going to make a 4 player game using Dark Basic, but I've found a very big fault in the input commands. You can detect multiple control device and use any of then with:

control device x()
control device y()
control device z()
...

What about control device fire x(int)?? I've not seen any reference to this command, but as you can imagine it's totally necessary to make a 4 player game (all players need to fire obviusly).

Any sugestion? Thanks a lot.

Okay, first of all, don't be so mean to new people to the forums. Secondly, you used than instead of then, thirdly, you should use input instead of print and add your variable of myinput$ at the end. Anyway, I don't think you can have multiple control devices (such as four joysticks). I think you could use a mouse and a joystick but not two joysticks. OF course I could be entirely wrong. But I'm prettey sure about this.

Well Axel, all that you need is this plugin. It's only $10 and worth every dime.

Peace, the anti-Bush.

What he said. I could make a plugin like that, but it would require MSVBVM60.DLL and I can't be arsed. Tbh.
