It's 7MB in Windows Media format. It doesn't show any AI, particle effects, pedestrians, vehicles or other things. Those *are* in the game, but just not in this particular city yet. This RPG takes place on a land larger than Morrowind's without any loading times ('cept for the initial load), and on even my 533MHz that I'm making it on, it runs pretty well. I'd say it's about 15% finished and it will be done in late September. A lot of code for building off of has been written, so now just cutscenes and some gameplay are really all that's left to do along with some more modeling and texture work.

Looking really sweet. I just saw the start of a really cool flying animation at the end there. Can't wait to see more gameplay or, dare I say, a DEMO.

I could probably do a demo in a month or something. Just the first chapter of the game.

Oh. I think I forgot to mention this is DarkBASIC Classic! This is my last DBC game. I'm going to buy Pro and a new PC in a few months and make a 6-player story-based online RPG.

Looks very true to the series graphical style. I used to be a fan years ago, but got fed up with the show's bullsh*t. Nice work on the models!

"I recognise that music. Final Fantasy?"

It's an original composition.

I can't learn to model with them. Besides, I can't used skinned models.

I use 3D Canvas LP.

Were you being sarcastic?

Takes about 2 minutes before you hear it but there is definately the same tune used in yours as in this. I remember from hearing it years ago playing FFVI. That isn't the on I heard in the game but I couldn't find it.

I know; I found it and thought I'd pasted the link in my post. Unfortunately, my clipboards still contained "Its an original compostition.". Where it says that out of quotes was supposed to be the link.

Hmm, well, I have somebody else doing the music. There are two versions of this that he composed. It's a MIDI file, though... but you linked to an MP3. I'm download it right now. Will reply in a sec.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... Methinks I need a talk with der composer, ja?

Well, I guess it fits, but I really would rather he edit Dragon Ball songs or make his own from scratch.

He says he also composed this song I'm attaching. Could you tell me if it's also not his?

that last one is a final fantasy 7 track, a very famous peice of music at that. The first one was also the main theme from final fantasy 6. Your composer is taking you for a ride mate :/ Give him a slap!

par your composer being a music thief this looks awesome though, very good job

Haha. Yeah, I went to a free music website and I'm just using that now instead.

I just programmed so music changes in different cities and at certain enemies. Very fun stuff.

Lol, turning yourself in aye seppuku? Nice looking game so far Yusaku. I like that flying animation at the very end of the movie. Looks like you are having fun with this project. I would say it sounds like it too but it sounds like Final Fantasy .

When it comes to programing, I'm on fire!
