is there a way to make Moz Thunderbird to run in the background with an icon in the notification area (next to the clock)
and get an effect like thus:


i've checked the extensions page but didnt see anything.

Something like this. Haven't tried it, but seems like it should do what you want.

nice, i just downloaded some program, but it doesnt tell you when emails come in...UNINSTALL
