How do I have collision between a ray and a 3D x file object to make it as a bullet coming from the cracters gun??
I have:

*if mouse is clicked*
for ray = 1 to 20
if object collision(ray,2) then *blah blah play death animation and then delete object*
next ray

how in the world do I do this? It says : Object does not exist.

Isn't this a type of double post? However, this is not how you cast a ray. A ray is an imaginable line, which is a line of points which are coordinates between two points. Each point is checked to see if it is within an object.

Your method above is using ray as an object.

I know, but I was asking how to cast the ray and showing you that that's what I have so far. Sorry for the double post, I was just so frustrated.
