Lets face it. The game was nothing like the original in the bad way. The interface was slow, I hated the campaign, and the online lagged even on low (dsl, but 1.5mb or 1mb or something) The graphics were mildly improved, but the objectives had flaws, and I found it a general bad sequel. I loved ee, but ee2 I would have to give 2/5 for good gfx, and good rts gameplay -2 for interface, speed, and multiplayer.

i completely agreed. i was going to get EE1, then saw EE2 was coming out, and thought "wow, it looks and sounds like its going to be really cool"

i got the demo as soon as it was released, and i have to say, i was extremely dissapointed. i wont be buying EE2, and nor will i be getting EE1, since it's somewhat outdated now.

EE2 was ok... though its training bored the hell out of me. I felt I had to do it though as I had no clue what I was doing when i started a skirmish. In the end it just felt like every other RTS. Actually haven't seen a real good RTS in a few years... sad.

do you believe ee1 was? Its sad that they based this one off of other games. I wanted them to try like ee1. I dont know why, but that game is revolutionary to me

Never played EE1, only played EE2 as I saw a Preview in Game Informer, or was it an ad. Well, either way it looked good. Then when I played it I changed my mind

I love Game Informer, but they gave to high a score for ee2.
Download the demo. It is fun, and only issue I had is that it doesnt support laptops correctly
