whenever i try to execute / compile somecodes through dark edit it gives an error that "Cannot Write c:\My Documents\DarkEdit.Tmp"... using xp

try saving the code first and try again.

also, (this being xp 'n' all), do you even HAVE a c:\my documents folder?

XP (by default) stores your my documents folder at C:\Documents And Settings\UserName\My Documents...
