heck, i just got darkmatter 'cus it was related to dark basic but i was glad after chekcing out all the cool models and DB enhancements, it basically boils down to:

-if you still have dark basic (classic) and want it enhanced.
-you not really that good at modeling.

the models come with uv-mapping to you can adjust them anyways you want, although the animations aren't all that, you can still modify or make your own, i guess it was worth it (for me at least).
