Well IE7 Beta 1 was launched a couple of days ago. Looks like another 'More secure' charade of rubbish from MS. I reckon severe holes will be found a couple of weeks after official launch, lol, that would be funny

Official announcement;

Oh yeah, and M$ really need t learn how to not give 'dodgy' people their software, since as mentioned in the title, its already leaked

Anyone else think IE7 is going to be a total load of poop?

IE7 ain't bad actually. Its pretty buggy at this stage, and the new UI takes some getting used to, but all in all, I'll probably use it more then FF.

BTW, it was leaked a couple hours after connect.microsoft.com released it to most of the testers (through a xdcc bot in #winbeta on their network, lol). Longhorn was leaked about 3 hours after its release on connect, to the xdcc bots

Not that microsoft cares about the leaks at all, if they didn't want it leaked, they woulda made it a bit more private then connect.

Edit- BTW, you may wanna remove that link from your post, that is a warez site first of all, and secondly the leak is still illegal though it may not seem that way.

When Microsoft wish to keep a Beta from the public they make it so that you have to log-in with your MSDN Subscriber account each time you use it.

Nothing about the lack of security of the product at all.
Personally I hate the new Explorer 7 look. On Vista, the graphics make it look nice.. but quite frankly it is a complete ripp-off of FireFox.

I hate the Search Box and the Tab implimentation is beyond pointless just as pointless as it is in FireFox. Doesn't make my life easier, just keeps my taskbar cleaner.

On the plus side, it is quicker, and it is more stable. Plus it uses less memory overall. Still I hope that they release the SDK for Explorer 7 in the comming weeks so someone can code a proper implimentation of the user-interface.

As for it being leaked. Whoopdy-freaking-do. It's released to the public next week anyways. So it hardly matters much.
