I was wondering if there is any totorial on the internet about writing a FPS, exept from the one on www.darkbasic.com. If there is not another one, maybe somewon can help me whit th beginning, I really don't know where to start. Thanks

Start with the gameplay then the layout of the game
get your objects and textures ,sound,music and think about how you are going to code the game what's going to be hard and what's not

no no no! xmen is wrong!

Start with the framework, collision and movement. You want STRAFFING (the ability to sidestep), forward and backwards, and some kind of collision.

Start with the sliding collision EXAMPLE in the help files. That is great for a full time FPS. Then grab movement code from the MONSTER GAME files (in the db regular folder). Go from there!
