After months of preparation I started a wargame which i intend to charge 2$ a week. You can find it at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/world_leader
I advertise on adwords and i had about 40000 impressions with 40 clicks. My problem is that neither of that 40 people that clikcked on my ad didnt register.Do you have any suggestions?Should i advertise more, change description text, make more traffic on group then there is now(i have three accounts and 25 messages per week) anything else. Please comment

1) Start with a 2 to 5 word summary, followed by: "Join Now" with a link (or directions, but a link would be best), followed by "for your free trial!"
2) Improve the discription text. Put spaces in after the periods. Also, reduce the intial description to about 2 sentences that really "hook" your reader. You can put in more text later once you have the reader hooked.
3) I'm aweful at spelling and grammer, so I didn't check yours. But you might want to spell check your description. Spelling errors quickly make anything look unprofessional - and not worth my time.
4) Consider extending the free trial period; unless a leader can really start to make headway in your game in 1 to 2 weeks, it's won't be enough to get player's hooked. Make the free trial sound exciting; like it's costing you money to give away something for free.
5) Repeat the "Join Now" part (item 1).
6) Add in a link that includes details about what benefits one gets from just signing up. Maybe indicate that people can join your group for free and get the free trial just for signing up. Also mention that there is no obligation.
7) Include comments from your play testers and/or participants.
8) Repeat the "Join Now" part (item 1).

That's my 2 cents.

I went to the link but I'm confused as to what the game is. Does your google ad go to that link? I take that it's an email game but I think many people would not understand what's going on and would be reluctant to pay or even join the group.

Many people believe in alternative free games.

People don't want to pay each month to play online games, so they try to find a game thats kindof the same as the one charging, except it isn't charging.

If you want my advice, I would advice you to....

Make The Game Free, But Members Only Have To Pay To Get Better Weapons/Items/Etc...

Take This For Instant, www.habbo.com It's Free To Play, But To Get Credits You Must Pay. (I Know You Lot Prob Think Habbo Is Crap, Which Yes, True, But They Have Made A Huge Profit, And That's No Laughing Matter)

I thought about that but you have it free 2 weeks and until November and 2$ isn't that expensive.

Uh why would anyone want to pay for a game done via a group?

I could just go play the much more enjoayble B.O.T.S or Nation States. o_O
