I have an old MOBO PSU and CASE that my friends dad got from work, and i'm trying to get it running, but the problem is, my friend was going to use the case for something else, so he took everything out. And the PSU is odd, the power switch for the computer, is just hooked up to the PSU and when you click it, it shuts off the whole thing (none of this soft power stuff we have now), now the problem is, i dont know how to plug the switch into the PSU. I have taken TWO educated guesses, but that turned out worse than i honestly expected (threw a switch on the house's main power switch thingy out in the garage).

so i'm wondering if anyone can help me...aside from the Green Ground wire (it's a different shape so it can easily screw onto the case for the ground) i have FOUR wires, light blue, white, black, and brown.
then the switch is like thus:

the '|' being where you plug the PSU in, and the '[]' at the bottom being the button clicker thingy and the back two '|' have red at the bottom of them where they connect to the plastic part of the switch (color coding i believe) I tried plugging the two dark in the back and the two light in the front and vise versa, and both of those throw the switch.

my question is, anyone know where to plug each colored wire in on the switch so i can turn this old peice of crap on. and I dont want to short it out again, i kindof want this equipment to work, i have a use for it.

oh yes, i forgot. the PSU is a HIPRO HP-200 PP1. and i just noticed that on the switch, next to the two prongs with the RED color, it has the numbers '1' next to one, and '2' next to the other. and next to the other prongs it has p 1 and p 2

so like this:

you might have killed the mobo from what I can make out (your PC is AT form factor)

http://www.pcguide.com/ref/power/sup/parts.htm

click forward/back to go through the whole thing, be careful to check on the possibilty of connectiong the MOBO back to front and killing it, apparently the connectors for the cables are interchangeable and getting it wrong is fatal.

ps: if you scroll down you even get to see a picture of the switch and wireing
