They'll soon be available here, and the subscription rates are low I've heard. Does anyone here have it, and if so, do you feel it is worth the price?

The devices will be starting at just over $100. I spend about 3 hours a day commuting to and from work, and I can never find any good radio stations, so I'm forced to listen to talk radio. The commercials are annoying and sometimes I want to listen to world news.

My dad has an XM radio. It's quite nice, and since you travel 3 hours a day, I'd definitly recommend it. There's plenty of stations too, so you'll always find something you like.

I say go for it.

When Howard goes to Sirius in January Ill probably give it a go. Too bad O&A are on XM - I like them too but not enough to get both XM and Sirius

I listen to mostly Air America, on various AM stations nationwide, so its not an issue for me atm. People say sat-radio is pretty awesome though

My friend just got a sat radio for like $10/mo and he said it's by far the best radio he has ever bought. Stations for just about anything you would want to listen to. As long as you will make use of it, I would say its definately a good investment.

XM is awesome. No commercials (besides the ones advertising for extra XM stations) to bother you. It is also nice how they display the score for sports stuff.

Thanks for the info, peoples. I will definitely pick one up for my car when they're released Still have to see a complete listing of the stations on each company's, though.
