Are you sure that the .wav's exist? And, are you sure they are in the sounds folder? If so, you might change you \ to /, but I don't know if that'll make a difference.

Did you click the "copy media into folder" checkbox? It makes life musch easier.

when you use copy media into folder did you take out /sounds/ because you have to to make it run.In my other post i was saying is the sounds folder in the folder of the project where the code is.
like C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional\Projects\project name\sounds\yes.wav

and in my sig i was saying that he goofy and knida sucks at being a ninja just to make it funny.

Well, it doesn't have to be in the "exact" folder, it can be in a subfolder. I seperate my media that way....sounds.....music.....names.....objects......all of that good stuff. I don't really have an adequate answer for you question. My only reply right now would be that maybe you have to save first....? I don't know. That might be it....

No, when i copy the sounds into current folder, i also tried to remove the /sounds/ but i want it in that folder. but it also dont working, i mean if i try it to load it into the same folder as the db file, it won't run and say that it can't load it. and also if i put it in the /sounds/ folder it also says that. I still don't know what the problem is

you have to turn your speakers on first... just kidding...

if you upload one of the wav files I could try it in one of my own programs to determine whats going on?

I use DBP btw..
