Yo I usually DL videos that ppl post and they are in .WMV format and that is cool but one day i start my PC and i try to play a video and my computer freezes and locks up and I have to do a manual restart. The same thing happens when I try to watch streaming video using real or Windows Media Player. I have tryed reinstall windows media player and that did nothing, and I have also used adware and I did a virus scan, any idea what could be wrong?

THx

A 9600GT is not a nvidia card, it's an ATI card.

WindowsXP Home(Service pack 2), Athlon XP 2400+(2.1Ghz), 1GIG Ram, Ati Radeon 9800Pro 128MB.

try the drivers because there has been some really bad Nvidia problems with their newest drivers so if you can see if there is an beta driver out there for your to download.

No its not.

The GT range is Nvidia. So is the 6800GT.

That stupid new driver for BF2 sets up the gamma way too high for regular games and it dosent let some game see that your card is DirectX compatable.
