Newcomers DBPro Corner / Need more programs

I am looking for more programs to aid me in some games. I am not sure what I would need and what they should be. would i need...

1. Level Editors to make maps, levels ect...
2.Something to make textures.

Not sure what else there is.

I am getting 3D Studio Max 7 soon, I can use that for moddeling for characters and other stuff. I Also have Adobe Photoshop 5.5 for graphics, but not sure if i can use that for textures. Anyone got any ideas?

Yes you can user it for textures also if you dont like it search for van seam

Textures are images, man
lol ok.. no problem..

_Get a sound creator/editor software..
For midi you can get KBPiano and Anvil MIDI Studio..
I like Fruity Loops: .wav, .mp3 and .mid creator..

I think it is all you need..
I found gameSpace much better than 3DMax for game models..

The worst foe lies within the self...

I have fruity loops too, I just remembered about sound, cant be having a game without sound now can we!
