Hello.
I've taken an old broken Presario 2800 laptop computer.
In fact the motherboard and screen are fully functional but all other things are broken.
I'd like to know if someone has adapted an LCD screen to use it like a simple VGA monitor to use it with a non laptop computer ?

or if you can`t be bothered to read all that, no, the lappy has its own encoder onboard to talk to the display, different standards to the normal video out on a pc (lots more wires), you might be able to fit the screen into a desktop monitor frame, but thats gonna be experimental to say the least.
