If he's already connected the TV, then the chances are it does support TV out.

You first of all have to have the TV turned on when you power the PC up so the graphics card detects the TV is there.

Next, check to see if there's an icon in the control panel for your graphics card. ATI usually have one and both Nvidia and ATI software usually puts a little icon in the system tray.

If neither are there, right click on your desktop and go to Properties...Setings...Advanced.

Nvidia will give you a tab at the top where you can access the settings. But they will only be there if your TV was detected.

ATI cards have an option called Displays where you can choose what you want to output to the TV out connector.

No I can already set it so it puts it up on the T.V. that part works, its kust I want to have output on both the monitor and T.V. at the same time.

nVidia does that too, sigh! you people realy must get some sorta search bot installed (I seem to just do all the searchs for you)

http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=32&p_created=1096498785&p_sid=k57L*ZMh&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0yMzYmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3BhZ2U9MQ**&p_li=&p_topview=1

you need clone mode, theres also a manual on how to use Nview on the site, read the whole thing, the above link gets to the part you want about half way down.
