The Final Postalman,

Just a hint, that no one is going to be interested in helping you. That is, unless you have something to show. Have you made the story line, and at least have come up with the gameplan? Gameplan, as in, what you wish to be included in the game, from start to finnish? Have you coded a single part of the game?

yes, i could explain it to you but it would be easier if you've played the game. And i've started on the beginning loader and have gotten some loading pics. I have a rough idea for the story but im trying to put together missions like in the original game. I have a main character with a sidekick. I would also like to include a feature to download missions and weapons ect.

Read this:

Oh, and anyone can code a set of Loading screens.. It's not exactly the kind of skill required to, say, clone a game.
Also, you'll get into all sorts of legal complications if you used the same 'Final Fantasy' name, or any of the characters.

Could somebody go through that whole 'Maybe you should start off with your aims a bit lower...' thing again? I really can't be bothered to right now, and I might miss one of the important points.

Head to the 'Newcomers Corner', and check out the Pong Tutorial - It's really actually quite good...

[Insert extremely witty comment here] :: Add me to MSN if you like, but don't expect any big favours [unless you like VB6]. ... IDK!!

Yeah... Listen to these people, they know what they're talking about.

Locked.

Oh, and don't post a team request for another... say... Two Years...
