Some commands WILL not work anymore!

You only get a 30 day trial of the enhancement pack then you have to buy it.

...Put in your DarkBASIC CD?!

I mean, it does say 'Needs valid CD for enhancements'...

Don't ask me, I had one of the 'first edition' CDs that didn't claim to come with enhancements <.<

(I upgraded afterwards, y'see.)

The "free" upgrade did the same to me. I remember seeing the link to "upgrade" DBC a while back. So, I did, and was able to enjoy experimenting with the new commands, gladly. Then one day, the programs I had written would not run anymore, due to the "trial" being over with. I was a bit flustered, seeing how I did not remember seeing a word about having to pay for the upgrade after a trial period ended. I do not usually complain. But, this did upset me at the time, and still does a bit now.

However, if I ever gain the funds, DBP will be my new partner.

Just been looking through my archives and I don't actually have an enhancement pack only upgrade - just a V1.13 upgrade I've saved in a directory I called 'V1.13 Enh'.

On re-install, if I remember correctly, I get V1.06 off my CD then have to upgrade to V1.10 and finally upgrade to V1.13 to get the enhancements.

I remember paying for the enhancement pack - though it was a good while back and I can't remember ever seeing anywhere that when you buy DB, you get V1.13 *including* the enhancements.

What were free at the time were upgrades - not enhancements, but being so old, even those have stopped now.
