yeah, that's what i was looking at. But i know at school they used XP Pro, and we had the privilage to change our password whenever we wanted and etc. But we couldnt install to the hard drive, we could only put things in the MY DOCUMENTS folder (which is on the network drive, it wasnt local) so i KNOW this is possible to do. and I will find a way to do it
and i have checked google but to no avail.
It's times like this that MS is really stupid. They give us the choice for all or nothing. and i dont think anyone wants nothing,( except high schools, but they have no clue what they're doing anyway)
I have the choice when i share a folder across the network how restrictive i want to be, but when i want to choose how restrictive i am locally, i'm screwed.
