Hey,
Ok i'm not being totally crazy here.. cus sombody did actually know which song i meant but didn't know the title to it either

Ok.. It's an operah song which i don't know the name of
Very "evil" sounding.. very "saitanic"
often used at firework displays.. once used for alton towers background music.
Extreemly famous. I gaurentee you've all heard it.

main catch is
"DUN DUN DUN DUN (boom boom)
"DUN DUN DUN DUN (boom boom)
"DUN DUN DUN DUUUU DUUUU DUN DUN! .... (boom boom)

anyone know the song i'm talking about...
Benjamin on irc knew the song i meant... so it's not that daft a

If its the music in the link then its called Guint Suite and was composed by Grieg Peer.

Probably Beethoven's 5th symphony. It's not an opera*, and the notes you supplied are way off. For shame.

It will name your tune by either singing or whistling in a microphone, selecting keywords, playing it on a piano, or using something called 'Parsons Code' which I find is quite reliable.

Definately Beethoven, although if you want similar stuff you could try Phantom of the Opera (anybody se that film on sky?).

That sounds uncannily like the song posted previously above: 'Guint Suite', which according to Alton Towers, is what they use as their theme:

I'm gonna have to agree with "Oh Fortuna". It's a very well known piece whose main hook pivots around two chords. And even though it does sound very "evil" I'm not quite sure the original intent of the song is evil. Let's face it - it's eerie because it's in Latin.


--- edit: read the translation here. If it's possible, the song becomes even more creepy.

If you want "dramatic scene in slow motion" music, then I've always thought that Albinoni's Adagio in G minor was pretty emotive.

anyone who said beethovens fith were way off with their notation.
for a start its an operah and beethoven only wrote one opera . which sounds nothing like that one ^_^

On sky? I saw the film, pretty good stuff, not opera but wonderful stuff.
