I'm making my Slayer: Battle Tanks II game, and would appreciate any input of how it is currently looking. And or, some comments about my first game, Slayer: Battle Tanks. And, I may put your comment along with you username on my site. Link found here http://www.slayerbattletanks.tk. Here are a few shots:

it`s untextured tanks on a plain with untextured boxes (or a totaly irrelevant medieval castle) and bad 2d trees, nope, nothing to get too excited about, looks like something I would write, sorry.

You've already posted about your "Battle Tanks 2" game - (it belongs on the WIP board anyway), and it's been appreciated by the masses already in your last thread...

...This counts as a double thread-posting, a crime that can only be redeemed by ... redemption.

Although 'Me!''s review was slightly sadistic, it is completely accurate from what you can see in the screenshots. Maybe the gameplay's better...? (I can't say, what with the fact 14Mb is a liiitle on the large side...)

[Insert extremely witty comment here] :: Add me to MSN if you like, but don't expect any big favours [unless you like VB6]. ... IDK!!

I agree, 14MB is a little much. That game had a large cinematic (by file size I mean, almost 8MB), which is a poblem I fixed and Slayer: Battle Tanks II is expected to be near 9MB! And, sorry, I guess I should put this in the WIP, but, I get more answers in the Dark Basic Discussion then in the WIP.

Yes, I'm workingon textures, they're just stretched too far, so I should start mipmapping. When the game's finished, it should almost be completely textured

I like it. I think the kills and Damage should be spaced out a little more though.

Good point vgames master. I can see how you might get the numbers confused, like 01 and 10 and like that. I'll change that, shouldn't be too hard.

I don't really care about the 14MB...

But don't you think that an army building or something would suit a tank battle more than a medieval castle?

I do have a fort, but, I see what you mean. I'll make some more levels with some army ruins or something like that. Thanks for the tip

Have you considered multi-story arenas?

Multi-story? Possibly. It would work for a few levels, however, not the abandond island, unless you were to fall under water. The fort mcdonald might work, but if I really want multi-story levels, I'll have to make more levels designed around that. Thanks for your tip! Any more comments/suggestions?
