Where can I find sythesizers for my midi app, I've only got the default mircosoft one and it sounds crap, i had a yamaha one on me old PC that came with ff7 but I don't own ff7 anymore, and I looked on the yamaha website, but couldn't find one, and google couldn't help me either, so anyone know of any?

(on google and yamaha they only had hardware synthesisers, bloody piece of sh**)

soz I don't think I was clear, as 'synthesiser' can be too ambiguous, so I'll try to show you what I am looking for.

A synthesiser for a midi program, that sounds better than your default one with windows, which with Final Fantasy VII you get a yamaha one, but I couldn't find it, and well I don't own FF7 anymore.

Here is a screeny of my track settings in Anvil Studio

As you can see under synthesiser it says 'general midi' and I am looking for a better one than that.

Unfortunately all I can find is studio hardware synthesizers and VST trackers

Ahhhh... like a ROMpler? Something you can send sounds through your sound card so it can be picked up by your studio app? Hmmm... would be hard pressed to find a free one I do have a free ROMpler (no idea what it stands for btw) on a dvd I got off of cm86, I could email it to you if you'd like (and presuming you have dsl - those installers get big)
