I am trying to make a side scroling game, like the old super mario, I have no idea how to do this apart from making an image loop over so it looks like i am actually flying (airplane game) and also was wondering if i could have a background scroling, and another scroling picture infront of it such as mountains and other trees.

Can anyone helpme with making an image loop. I just need it so when the player gets to the edge of the screen it will make the same picture come up again so it looks like it is scroling.
