I want to turn my PC into a web host using FTP. I know how to make files accessable from the internet but dont know how to set up FTP. The simplest way of doing it seems to be using FTP. So... Is there some software which will allow multiple users to upload files to a folder on my PC? Each user must have a different username and password.

I'm not sure but I think there are websites that do that, but I totally forgot any names, so well that leaves you standing on square 1 still.

Soo I dunno, but a popular FTP program is Cute FTP, well I've heard good about it, well you may as well check it out whilst expecting other replies.

But I don't know if it allows multiple users

you may want to check your bandwidth pipe size on upload. Most likely its not that large (your dl speed doesnt matter), once you multiple users connected and trying to download files or pages or whatever, it will come to a crawl speed-wise. Unless of course you have set up a good hosted server?
