hey hey,

just to let you lot know darkbasic users use irc to talk to eachother!

also devhat has expanded and has it's own website now, where you can register and submit programming articles. [href]www.devhat.net[/href]

if you use a irc client you can enter our address in: "irc.devhat.net" port 6667 and there are other rooms than darkbasic on the network so do a /list !
there are also rare appearances from the tgc team so you have to keep an eye out

p.s. darkbasic room is #darkbasic

Actually Leys has been banned on multiple occassions for being retarded and this misinformation is unexcusable...

Leys was banned because of prejudice and making inapropriate jokes...

Since i re-joined regular chat on IRC hes been banned 4 or 5 time and ive only been back for a few weeks...

Who am i...i don't know anymore...its been a long time since ive walked here...

just to confirm to anyone who hasn;t been to our irc channel before and may have been put of by ley's comment:

our channel is full of diversity, multinational, multinational and has a fair mix of religeous and athiests, we are not prejudice against anyone, and anyone who is gets immediately kicked and possibly banned.

dont listen to what leys say's, he's just a forum troll, and i ask you to check out some of the thread's he's started/posted in before believing a statement he says.

yep he's been banned from the network several times so dont listen to what leys said. he had to cause trouble an hour after i went bed, lucky an oper was on. got a report from the oper, checked logs and agreed on the ban.

anyway now with leys gone, the room should be much better

Yes the IRC server is a good place for coders to hang out, brag about what they've done, help others and whatnot. There are more rooms then just coding for those who would like a nice gaming talk or w/e.

Tis a nice place where people get together and enjoy one another
