Newcomers DBPro Corner / (noob) please help

i'm a noob and i've buied DBPro need help...can someone make a 3rd person terrain example to me? i'm going to use it to learn.

and one more thing...can DarkBASIC Pro use 3d models moch better than doom3, without the game beeing slow?

yes it can use 3d models and to make terrain you need to do this then adjust the camera view

If you look in the examples (in the help folder) there is a good matrix example.

And no, DBpro will be slowed down if you use really high quality models. DBpro is slower than C++ (or whatever Doom3 was programmed in). However, DBpro is WAY easier to learn than C++ (especially if you've never programmed before and/or want to make games)

if you want a code for 3rd person with a matrix, here you go.
i've made alot of rem for explaining all of the command. but it will help me if you tell me what do u know in dark basic because maybe you already know most of the things in the program.

i've never programmed in DBPro before but i've used GameMaker(a half klick to create and half Code program) the Coding pard of GameMaker is something like C(not C++) and i not as advanced as DBPro...
