Does anyone know of an affordable 10/100/1000 ADSL modem router ? D-Link's Wireless 108MBPS Gaming Router looks good, but is actually a switch (needs connecting to a router), which isn't what I want.

All I've found so far are one's geared towards business (£1000+)

i have a 54mbps d-link router and it burns out every 14 months-2 months after the warranty expires, has happened twice, i am now trying to find a different one before the current one bites the dust.

The sales-nerd said the 108 should last about twice as long, but it was 3 times the cost, so the little math smurf in my head said no.

My interests are World-Domination, Absoute Power and moonlit walks on the beach.

Draytek ones are very good, but expensive.

Unfortunately they dont do gigabyte routers

Our netgear wireless adsl router just burnt out

Still, that meant I could take it apart. It actually just has a wireless network PC card in it (like the ones you put in laptops). And there was I thinking it was come clever trickery.
