I want to know if you can make a cube (example) and have it exported as a .3ds or .x file. Is it possible? If so how.

Thanks in advanced!

this is not possible. Unless there's a hidden command for it.

only 2 things can be saved in a 3D-enviroment:
- save static objects will save all static objects to a file.
- save object animation will save all animation of an object to a file.

But no save object command...
(try 3DS2X to convert 3ds -> X )

Immunity and Annihalation makes Immunihalation...

i think it can be done.

1 - Make Mesh From Object
2 - Make Memblock From Mesh
3 - Open To Write
4 - Write Memblock
5 - Close File

done.
This should save as .x file without texture information.
Also, animation data is not exported.
Also Also, requires DBC enhanced for the memblock stuff.
To save in another format requires that you fully understand
this current .x format and manually convert it to your desired
format ... and of course, you'll need to fully understand that too.
A good source for docs is MS3D .asci format (text) and use the
JT exporter set to text instead of binary.
