I was wondering how TGC came up with thier logo. I mean, it looks like a mask for holloween. (no offense) Just asking how they came to it.

why do you say elements? it could esily be done is photoshop or paint shop pro , looks nice tho sometimes clean and simple banners are effective

I think he's talking about the logo ON the pyramid, for it looks closest to a haloween mask.

lee was explaining at the convention that it is, as louiz said, D and B merged into one, tipped on its side and added to a pyramid. i remember he had a reason for choosing a pyrammid, but i cant remember that part.

I like the xbox more than the playstation 2, however.. that isnt to say that i'm going to like the xbox 2 more than the playstation 3 or vice versa.. it's not out yet, so i'm not going to make any assumptions or get my hopes up.. I'll wait for them, try them, and when the time comes, i'll then compare them.

The XBOX is better than PS2, or that's my opinion, except when XBOX 360 comes out along with the PS3, I'll go for the PS3. Considering that you can play more games on PS than on XBOX.

That might not be true this generation though. PS2 had more games because it had more users. This time round the 360 might have more users. Only time will tell. Personaly I`m going to wait and see what happens. If the 360 has more games then I won`t get a ps3 and I`ll probably get the rev or nothing. Though if the ps3 has more then I`m jumping on the good ship rpg heaven (I`ll get a ps3).

I don't really understand why people get a console just because of its capabilities. I always assumed people prefered a certain console because of the games available on it. Afterall, you play the games, not the console.

I agree with Benjamin..

I still play my ResidentEvil 1 (yes RESIDENT EVIL 1, 2 and 3)
on my Playstation 1 (one) console and love it..
I'm a resident Evil mad but it doesn't matter.. I still play
Galerians (1, not ash), Fear Effect 1, Dino Crisis 1.. PARASITE EVE 1.. etc..
These are the best games I did ever play and I still play them

Ok.. When I did see some dudes playing that Tennis game on Dream Cast
with great graphics I found it really cool..
get bored with 5 minutes of game..

on-topic ^^
I rather would buy PS2 instead of XBOX 360 (not because the price)..
I like Resident Evil OutBreak =']

for those who did laugh when I said "Resident Evil 1":
That room with sharks is unforgetable..
the same I coud say abour the bees,
V-Jolt and the plant,
that medal inside the book did rock,
and the best thing is where you use the medal and what happens
And Jill, Rebeca, Clair.. etc.. are really sweet

So graphics aren't the start point, graphics are just one
more feature to sell better..
I love storylines (not dummy storylines like those behind

I am getting PS3 for many reasons:

1)possible future and present Kingdom Hearts games
2)Final fantasy XXIV (or what ever ff is coming out)
3)Xbox 360 is said to later only have a few really good games.
4)I like GTA games.

Thats funny, like 2 weeks ago I started playing DKC 2 and I finished it. Man that games is fun! Great music too, its amazing what they can do with MIDI .

I always wanted them to make DKC 4 for GBA, but it never happened . And its not gonna happen now that Rareware has moved to Xbox...

Good olde fanboys. Decide that one is good, and the other is rubbish because of *current* technology and good old rumour specs flating around. Wait till they come out, try each, then decide which floats your boat more. Or buy them all, which I did last time. Screw it, I love gun games, so PS2, loved Mario 64, so get GC, and didn't have anything to fill in that breezeblock shaped gap in my room, so got the XBox. Tops. IMO the Xbox is a better gaming machine (minus gun games and that addictive EyeToy nonsense). But is hardly enough to paint myself black, shove a green X on my front and lust after Microsoft for ever. Strange how that one is so completely the other way round (Microsoft? Spit. XBox? Love it... hmmmm).

Even with preferring the XBox, I'm getting the PS3 first. Mainly because of BluRay. Connect that up to my HD PJ, and I'll be in (proper, not upscaled) HD DVD heaven. Nice.
