I dont think there is, but just to check, is there a way to separate the Vocals from the Instruments in an MP3/WAV/WMA file?

You can strip the vocals out using a freeware utility created by AnalogX, I've never used it but it's supposed to work fairly well. DOesn't seperate them however.

i think so, i have a kick a**-(butt) home theater and audio system and it can do that. It puts the vocals on the main speaker with some background music, then puts the main music on all of the other speakers.

It never works flawlessly though. You always lose some freqs from the vocs and some from the music, and some get moved across between them. Any reason why you wanna do this?
