Well before I had to reformatt my computer I had this program that was completely free and it controlled the fan speed of my computer to keep the CPU and GPU nice and cold and now I cant find it.

Is it Wise to reajust the speed of your fan? Couldn't you end up with Melted hardware?

Ok i downloaded the program. And it says one of my Temps is 128C. can that be correct??????

Haha, yes it uses temp chips in your own hardware and adjusts the fan speed to that, to keep it cooler.

I cant seem to adjust the fan speed. i put hte speed to 100% and automatic speed is off.

Put it to automatic, thats what uses the S.M.A.R.T. system to adjust the fan speed to keep it cool.
