What do you guys and maybe the rare girl that may read this thread think about this idea for the TGC forums.

-Put the topic of the thread somewhere in the titlebar of the browser.

I was searching through threads with google boxes below and the results aren't that descriptive because of what TGC uses for text in the titlebar.

I think it's a damn good idea. You are correct, it's very hard to read Google's results, 80% of it is signature rubbish. It's very difficult to work out if it's what you are looking for.

Been asked before. Doesn't fit in with Rich's template system.

"A book. If u know something why cant u make a kool game or prog.
come on now. A book. I hate books. book is stupid. I know that I need codes but I dont know the codes"

Do you mean a certain format he maybe using? When we are viewing a thread it already has topic name displayed in text at the top of the page. I'd imagine that's stored within some variable name when it grabs the data from the database. You'd think it'd be an easy patch to the template.

Indeed - did look good.

We could do with a few forum as the bugs are getting a bit of a problem... Plus its rather basic now.

I reckon most of the sql stuff is done after echoing out the <head> part of the doc. I suggested output buffering, but he said it'd be too hard on the server.
