I want my system to have 1GB of RAM because at the moment I only have 512MB. I have 4 RAM slots, in 2 channels. I currently have two 256MB cards in slots 1 & 3. Could I insert one 512MB card? Or will I have difficulties with dual-channel? What is dual-channel anyway?

Could I shift both 256MB cards into Channel A and put a 512 into Channel B?
