For my new job coming up I will need to be able to use adobe photoshop, however I would very much like to stick with my linux OS. I have done a bit of searching and found Crossover Office which I believe can run many popular programs(including PS) on a linux system. Before I go and waste a bunch of money on it, is it worth it? Has anyone ever tried this before and does it work? Do I need to use the programs and differently than with windows? Please post any experiences you have had with this software. Thank you.

CrossOver Office Wine is pretty cool. I use it with Xandros. If it tells you that is supports an app, then it really works good. If you try to run something that is not supported or on its lists, then most likely it will not run good.

Why not just create a multiboot? Or buy a seriously cheap 2nd machine?

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
