Hello everyone. I just created a object in Silo 1.4 and I want to put it into FPS Creator. The only problem is that Silo can not export the 3D model into .x format. If I am correct, the 3D model needs to be in .x format to be-able to get imported into FPS Creator. Does anyone know if I am correct about the format??? Also, does anyone know of a program so I can convert some formats to .x? I really need help oin this one because this is my first time trying to do this. Please respond ASAP. Thank you all in advance.

I've tried them and their ok...they are more like viewers than converters though. Anyone else got any 3D model converters that can convert to multiple formats including .x???

Deep Explorer! The best free demo there is, search on google for it, you should find it! It expires after 30 days, but you can just redownload it I think

When FPSC gets good enough, lets make a Redwall game!

FPSC HEAR OUR PLEA, GIVE US MORE MODEL FORMATS AND SET US FREE!

From an experienced guy: I rather would invest another 30 bucks on Milkshape3D. It is worth every penny when it comes to format compatibility. Perhaps Silo is quite too complex for low poly models.

With Silo you can easily make lowpoly models, however there are a lot of users who are sculptors and make heavy use of Silo's sub division capabilitys.

Silo's export file formats are a bit limited i.e .obj,.3ds,dxf,fac,stl,rib,pov and its own .sia

I highly recomend Silo for its ease of use alone, also the price for Silo is really cheap $109
