Hi, I am trying to transfer my files from my pc to laptop, only I need to use a memory stick.

I saw a memory stick for sale, it said, "Plug & Play, PC automatically detects as a removable hard disc".

Does this mean I do not need a cd?

Cheers

I got windows 98, it says its for 98SE/Me/2000/XP and Mac OS 9 onwards.

So I'm guessing this will work.

Cheers!

That's the thing, this laptop hasn't a cd drive, nor disk, meaning I have to transfer my installation cd to install broadband onto my laptop.

I cannot connect per minute using the 56k coz 0800,090 numbers have been cut off or something like that.

You can always buy this:

http://www.seektron.ro/Produse/USB/USB%20Converter/USB2.0Converter/UDA-200.htm

I've used this on many Win98 computers and have never needed to install drivers to use this device. You can either connect this to a HD and transfer the files from your computer into it... then connect it to your laptops USB and take the files off the HD. Or connect this device to a CD drive and into your laptops USB and simply install the CD.

I got mine about a year ago and now I don't know how i've lived without it.
