BOB is another word for sprite. Do not ask me what the acronym words out to. Therefore, your code is trying to deal with a non-existant sprite. May I see your code, if you can't figure it out?

Nevermind, I think I got it . Thanks Nanobrain, I thought something was seriously wrong with my computer when it said "Bob". I started cracking up though...

A sprite used to be called a blitter-object (or bob) back in the days of the Atari ST - and Amiga (when Lee first started programming).

That's why he originally included the term, but phased it out in favour of the word Sprite, though references to it still lurk in the bowels of DB to this day.
