Hi, Lee and I are walking up Snowdon (a big Mountain in Wales). We are doing this with friends from Focus Multimedia with the aim to raise sponsorship for the Entertianment Software Charity.

If anyone would like to sponsor Lee and myself then please post into this forum. You need to state your full name, address and amount of sponsorship. Or you can just email me direct at rick@thegamecreators.com

Lee and I will also make a video when we get to the top and act out a silly scene from FPS Creator (as the owner of Focus will sponsor us $100 to do this). We will also show you this video

Thanks in advance of any contributions.

I think your thinking of Rich Davey..

Entertainment Software Charity iirc is a government run system that provides stuggling companies with finances to break into the industry. Failing that someone could just do a websearch for it.

I'd sponser only i'm having money issues of my own here.

Good link above, and it sounds like a nice charity. Staff of TGC have been locked in doors creating FPSC for almost a year and now that V1 it's time for an escape from their caves.

I get paid next week on Friday, I'm going to take a look at my paycheck, and if there's a nice amount of extra, I'll donate a little bit.

Yes, http://www.escuk.org/ is the ESC.

My marriage is going great, takes a lot to work on a PC home and tend to the family too. It all seems balanced in general though

ops too many rich.

aniway, Rickv i'm glad to see it's all ok.

Btw, i found in your profile
"I've worked on many projects over the years including:
Mini Office, Fun School, STOS, AMOS, Klik & Play, Click & Create, Lego Mindstorms, Rally Championship, Art Attack."

Amos was great. I still have all the version on WinUAE

back to topics.
i agree it's a good thing to make something for charity. Like let all the people here download stuff without pay an €.

I walked up snowdon a couple of years back, you get some great views if the weather's good.

There's a little train that goes to the top if you want (and a path that goes alongside it in places, that's the one I used), not that I'm suggesting anything *nudge nudge* (j/k)

I'll e-mail my info, would I be able to pay via paypal as my card's gone walk-about?

Cool . What route are you taking? When I did Snowdon the other week with some friends, we started about half way up at the main carpark (which is usually packed), and went via Crib Goch (a cool rocky ridge bit which aparently several people died on last year (only from underestimation of ability required, and lack of knowledge and brain cells)). I think starting from futher down can seriously increase the effort required. Good luck .

p.s. You're not taking the train are you ?

That pic was taken about 1/3 up the climb. In all we walked for 5 1/2 hours. Not bad when you consider we sit in front of screens all day.

Video will be made soon - just too busy with FPSC release. So far Lee and I have raised about £180. Will let you all know the full total of the team when it's added up.

Congrats.

@Rick - There should be an e-mail from me in your inbox somewhere, seeing as the walk's been and gone you might as well ignore it.

Congrats again.
