Hello
Anyone play it?

I think this game is amazing, the graphics is not
the best but it's pretty good.

Here is a link for the demo
http://dlx.gamespot.com/pc/starshiptroopers/moreinfo_6132313.html?tag=boxcar_all_download_headline
the website
http://www.starshiptroopersgame.com/

the system specs are a bit high but try you should still
try the game.

Recommended: 3.0ghz CPU, 1Gb RAM, GeForce 6800 or Radeon X800 [1024x768 with
shadows], DirectX 9.0c, 600mb free hard drive space, Windows XP ONLY, DirectX
compatible PCI soundcard.

Minimum: 2.0ghz CPU, 512mb RAM, GeForce FX5900 or Radeon 9800 [800x600 with
shadows], DirectX 9.0c, 600mb free hard drive space, Windows XP ONLY.

P.S
In the end of the demo there is a part when about 200-300 bugs
come to attack the post, it's one of the best part in a game I have
played in a long time.

I thought it was crap. Looked Crap, Played Like Crap, Ran like Crap.
I know that I don't have the 'minimum' on this machine, but honestly I don't even want to waste my time putting it onto the one that could run it.

What a waste of bloody time. What's retarded is the bugs are freaking ridiculously hard to kill. I unloaded an entire click until the gun needed to recharge and the sodding thing just kept comming. Aiming for the legs and you hit the dirt around them.. you've got to hit the body but how the hell you're suppose to strafe around something so damn fast.

Seriously the graphics look RTS level, even if they are Shader driver they're still ridiculously low-quality. Just looks like it uses shaders for the sake of using them. Yet another Starship Troopers game I'm completely naffed off with.

You know personally I prefer that Antlion HL2 mod, just wish it wasn't a simple 'fend off these antlions' thing and had some sort of an SP story rather than 'how long can you survive'.

He is not that hard, you just don't know how to kill it,
use the second gun [2] and when he get close use the right click button
it will shot like a shotgun one-two shots and the thing is dead
plus Im sure you never got to the part when tons of bugs attack the post.

I think im gonna get this game.

It plays like the film watches. It seems to be a film to game that holds true to the movie it came from. I had a lot of fun with the demo and it runs quite well on my well sub-par system .

Recommended for doom fans, as there is lots to shoot .
It also seems like it will be a good challenge for once .

WE SHALL BECOME ALL POWERFUL! CRUSH THE LESSER RACES! CONQUER THE GALAXY! UNIMAGINABLE POWER! UNLIMITED RICE PUDDING ! ! ! ETC. ! ! ! ETC.! ! !
