Hi!

Long time ago i started working on a game called Dark Corridors. It have been posted here some time ago. I actually got done with it, but never took the time to upload it. Now it's uploaded and ready to be played!
Of course there is some minor problems with the levels. I tried to make the levels as fast as possible, but you will meet some slowdowns through the game.

The storyline will be told in the game. Since the game is laying up to a number 2, Dark Corridors 2 will be made when i get V1 And since i'm an EA user i should get it the 8 september. Now... Before the download here you got some screenshot! :

The game contains 8 levels and it's on about 75 mb.

Really nice, but a bit much ammo. A really nice enviroment. That message, where could you have gotten the name "Gordon" from, huh?... by the way, in that room, the door is not adjacent with the wall. I could shoot the alien on the other side without even opening the door.

lol i was a bit out of ideas that evening

I think that's a bug with fpsc.

There will be no further updates to this game as i'm gonna start making Dark Corridors 2 when i get V1

Thanks for the comment

Very nice game! FPSC should have save options ASAP because when you die in level 5 and have to do it all over again... Arrr!!!

Anyway, this was fun playing, nice story, well implemented in the game, great ambient!

And also:
At the very beginning, you get completely stuck if you happen to be between the bed and the table. You have to restart the game, no way to get out of this... Now, a chance it's in the beginning...

At the very end of level 1(the last two or three squares), there are ceilings missing... or perhaps it's that what you wanted...?

Just a little artistic touch, but when you add lights, it would be nice to see the source of it, like putting some lamps on the walls. Looks more realitic to me (but that's just me heh)...

Nice job!

I missed health packs at the end of the levels or after killing the zombie with the big gun in level 5. Was not easy to finish the demo but was fun.

Great atmosphere, i liked especially the fire at the bottom of the lift tube

Yeah I missed those healthpacks also, but it adds to the stress.
And since it's so easy to peek, once you know where the zombies are... it's pretty easy. ... Well... ... like in every game, I guess...

Anyway, I finished the game!
And just a last little thing: I missed that last character you meet at the end saying you've done the job well(untill then it was perfectly told -without cutscenes!- )... could just have taken a lift back all the way up after you killed the last zombie and meet someone who says something like "thank you, now we are all safe and blah blah..." and then "Game completed"... Now it was a little abrupt...
But I know... "No more updates for this game!"

And I'd be honored to be beta-tester for "Dark Corridors 2".

It was good but would benefit from saving (Which i think you cant have in the trial verison)

I got to the fifth level and accidently quit the game (Paused it and when i came back i hit exit game by mistake)

Great job Nerd!

Well I guess this is the best FPSC game I have played so far!
Well done. But there is still alot things that You can do better!
Here comes some plus and minus with Your fine game!

+ Good story
+ it always happends something. You wont get bored!
+ The first guy is looking at You even if you move. Cool!
+ You got a mission to do something by a commander and chief!
+ The enemys were placed well..
+ Intresting architecture.

- low sound, bad computer-voice (try to find a better voice)
- impossible to find some health patch-ups!
- the first Guy shourld say something like "John have a problem- right now. I think it is serious. Go down to him now!"
- When You blow up the wall it just disappered, it wourld look better if it just became a hole in the wall You courld crouch thru.
- You cant blow up a big transformator with a gun. Your friends Shourld give You a bazokaa!!(and please explosion)
- You shourld now Your name and mission earlyer in the game.
- I did meet Aiko on the bridge and We collided it wourld be cool if she sad something like "Ohh! You are really cute Mr Mason but I dont have time for that now."
- There is to little talk in all FPSC games!

Very Well done Nerd!

I believe it was a great game, and yeah, maybe ther best i have seen so far. (Made with FPSC, i meen ) I would love to beta-test Dark Corridoors 2. Contact me anytime!

just played.
very good design, iliked the way the corridors werent too straight and long.
if i make any comments then they arent intended to be rude or nasty.
things i didnt like: the robotic speech, the ai( not your fault).
things i did like : the levels, the mix of rooms, the ideas like the missing lift but the door opens showing the shaft, not being shot at by aiko.

one other tiny little point which is sooooooooooooo picky and shouldnt really be mentioned but i noticed straight away, the note you find had spelling mistakes ( i cant talk, im the worst speller)

but if these comments help to improve a game then im glad i can help.

@thicko:

Thanks for playing the game!
Well, the speech was because i used a free software for it
Thanks for the comments too! But there will not be any updates to this game as i'm started working on Dark Corridors 2 It will let you start we're Dark Corridors 1 ended. And will take you on a hard, but fun journey through the City we're Jim(The guy you play is named Jim) live. More storyline will follow in Dark Corridors 2. But in Dark Corridors 1 the goal was to stop the zombies from getting up into the city. That failed and Jim has now taked the challenge to kill all the zombies in the city and get the city back!
The game will not only be about killing, also thinking and because of fpsc's new physics and faster games, Dark Corridors 2 will be soo much better and funnier. With the game there will also be 1 or 2 multiplayer arenas.

Thanks all for playing and comment this game!

Well... I stopped this projects ages ago... And I don't even have it anymore. It's really not that often that I use fps creator anyway... If you look in my signature and click on "SpaceBattle-Shootout", you'll see what I'm working on... With dbpro...

Sorry guys... But uploading the game again just ain't going to happen.
