Nobody knows, although I think it's a mixture of time you've been registered AND number of topics approved.

I finished mine in a day, but I'd been registered without posting for years.

Just post a lot, it helps .

I would not reccommend posting alot of crap for the sake of speeding up the process though.

No, no, of course not. I apologize if I implied that in any way. Remember that the mods are watching you, so keep your posts as far in the safe range as possible. You could probably safely try the two game threads in this general board, though, to raise the numbers .

It's because they don't bother reading. Every single post they make comes back with a message + a link to the page Exeat gave above.

I could try sticking in an animated gif of some wobbling boobs above the message, or something. Perhaps that'd get their attention?

A great many people think they are thinking when they are really rearranging their prejudices.

But then you'd have them creating threads asking, "What's with the wobbling boobs on a programming forum? What does this mean?" etc. etc.

Ya people should read those stickies more often. Maybe you could make the sticky title "Beautiful women lie here" then they would have to click on it. Or on a serious note Empire Earth 2 made it so that you had to read the whole EULA before you can click "I agree" maybe you guys could put in something like that.

Good idea. Pics of a scantily clad keira knightly or similar might draw eyes up the page...

Ofcourse you couldn't just have women, there'd need to be a scantily clad Lee Bamber jiggling about to entice the female coders

and maybe a few of the male coders as well.
