What do you all think of this new interface they've sent out to your box?

I like the way it's brighter but wish they could have changed a few more things. Like made all the icons more metallicy.

I have a very nice, top of the range Sony receiver, mainly because I have a mate who installs Sky. And as a result, we get all of the new feature about 3 months after everybody else

Sony receivers are rubbish when it comes to upgrading, according to the technical line. Even a hard reset doesn't force the new software down the line.

Sony did them? Didn't know that. I thought it was only Pace or Amstrad (or am I thinking of Sky+ here?)

To be honest you're not missing too much Just a different, lighter background colour.

But I did miss the Personal Planner and Scheduling for at least 3 months. I rang them every day for a fortnight to complain, their cussy services number is actually very good, you hardly ever have to wait.

[EDIT] All-in-one remote controls don't work with the Sony box either
