Yesterday, nobody could enter the forums. And you know why? Because all the IRC users were BANNED!!! But it appears that a combination of tea, muffins, and torture got it back on.

I'm certain somebody has a log of the chat yesterday...yes? Anyhow, some of the leading theorys include aliens, split coffie, and a hijacking. Hopefuly kent or IanT can post a log of all the suggestions, I showed up late yesterday and missed a large portion of the chat.

I for one was happy the IRCer's were banned for a while, as we finally got to have that civilised discussion about the merits of Dark Basic and Blitz Basic we've all been dying to have without some huge flamewar.

And I think it was super nice of Rich to then take the entire forum out for ice-cream this morning just before he let those banned back in.

IRCers were never banned. Didn't you see in the log? The real reason was Rich has wiped the HDs by accident

lol. One question though. If he wiped the hdds and the back tapes (tapes?!!) then how did he restore the forum? Don´t tell me he had 2 backups? Wait. That can´t be it. No one can uload a backup of this forum using a 56kb connection.
And there was me saying how over rated tier 1 providers are

Rich actually wiped the HDs? Mouse spent like 2 mins 'pasting' each line of his convo with Rich, so I figured he was typing it out... Didn't think he was telling the truth

^_^ you know what I'm a little confused about is why it was a blank screen.

I mean usually when you do something completely stupid like wipe data you get a 404, but it was like nothingness. Seemed kinda weird.

Same. The only thing that does that for me is when I'm using Output Buffering and the script encounters a serious error and so has to die immediately.

But what the hell with the forum, luckily, i'm sad enough to live at many forums, I weren't so lonely, whatever happened, doesn't matter, those who pranked deserve a newb slap, and well see if Rich can explain it, if not run around like headless chickes until we find out its a hacker of um...EA games no wait, make it microsoft, trying to tear down each little possibility of any future competitors, Rich did you make an OS thats cheaper and far superior to Windows and were going to announce it?
