edit: I figured it out. It works fine now, but can someone show me how to increase the range of the gun without having the bullet shrink so much?

Here is the code:

How do I see particles after I've made them in dbp?
Thanks in advance

Hi..

well.. I maked a simple radar for you.. there is also an
example of particles...

yep.. a fast stuff (about 3+1/2 minutes), but I hope it is useful..

Enjoy

:edit:
And don't use "get image" command unless you wanna save
a screenShot.. it slows down the program by almost 1/3
of the normal speed.. 2D commands actually slow down
the game much more than 3D commands..

The particles still dont show. I read something about particles not working in some version of dbp. I have version 1.058. Is this the problem?

Do you mean 5.8?
If you're using DBPro 5.8, then the problem is probably
with your video card.. maybe it doesn't support particles

It works very well for me
Post info about your hardware here and someone is gonna
help you more than I can help about hardware..

Alright.. maybe it is also your DirectX version..
It is at 9c already

And how do I find out what version of direct x I currently have?
How can I detect whether the bullets hit the player?
Thanks for all the help
