What do you mean by "BOOM". I mean did it make a sound? I've had several monitors "POP". Basically they make snappy noises then eventually just turn off with a pop(ish) sound. You normally can smell burning from the vents. I even had one that had smoke coming out of it. I take it it's CRT? If LCD then ignore what I said.

If you switch the computer on, do you get any lights flashing, drives starting up etc? More importantly are there any beeps? The number of beeps will indicate what the error is in your motherboard manual. If you get nothing then it's probably the PSU or the actual power supply (eg. fuse for starters).

Cheers

your post doesnt make sense if you switched the pc on and it went boom then how did you already have 234 lines of code? and where does the PS2 come into it? it`s fuse went?, are they on the same extension? maybe the toy games machine blew the extension fuse? I can`t make it out from that post.

the average IQ is 100...but the people that took the test where trying to look smart. most people don`t go over 50.
Area 51?, I`m more intrested in what they have in areas 1 to 50

What the hell?

Your PS2 fuse blew, so you lost 234 lines of code?

What the hell... (again)

Damn you like to post, i believe Dazzag would call you "The One".
Yep, your post is almost as confusing as trying to "go around the block" in paris.

He says "switched on my pc today about half 7 BOOM". I don't know, because there's a lack of punctuation, but either he switched it on at 7:30 and it went boom or he switched it on earlier and it wasn't until 7:30 that it BOOMED.

Use punctuation, people will think your less of a dumbass, and you'll get answers to your questions quicker.
